Energy Performance Certificates for Commercial Buildings

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) must be provided to a new occupier or purchaser of most commercial property.

The EPC provides an indication of the energy performance of the building, as a Carbon-dioxide based index, and gives recommendations as to how it can be improved.

Our Accredited Assessors carry out a careful inspection of the building and its services, particularly lighting, heating and ventilation. This information, along with the uses to which areas of the building are put, is entered into the approved computer programme so that the EPC can be generated.

The EPC includes a graph, rating the property from A-G and comparisons with new and typical properties.

Epcsouth Assessors can provide EPCs for most properties in central Southern England and give advice as to how to improve the rating on your property.
